If it is your first time racing either motorcycle or drag strip, sometimes it is a frightening experience. The question is will you make other racers mad or crash with others? Being your first time in the race, you must think of the questions. Being a first time competitor, it is important to start from somewhere and get a vehicle of your choice. It is also very necessary to prepare both yourself and your car. Below are tips that you can follow to achieve a successful race.

Identify Your Game

The car or motorcycle that you will be using must be inspected properly to pave the way for a safe race ahead. The inspection makes sure that the motorcycle is functioning well and it has good breaks, battery and no gas leakage. If you will be using a vehicle for the race, make sure it is empty of the race. Pump your tires before they are inspected and know the safety rules that go along with the race you are competing.

Get Well Prepared

Pay for emergency gas and food and also carry the entry fee. Come with cash to the event as there is no use of card machines in most of the tracks. Make sure that if you are using your car, you have enough gas to take you home. You can also get prepared with your car repair manual incase the car get faulty. Carry with you spare tools and wheels and you will get them out of the boot as you start the race.

Buy Light Protective Gear

Get Familiar With The Rules Before The Race

Read the safety rules even if you have raced before. For example, you can enter without having your vehicle or yourself inspected, and the organizers will not let you complete the race. To prevent the embarrassment, go for car or motorcycle inspection and read the safety rules properly. In case of any arising question, you may ask the organizers to be on the safe side.

Get Well Organized For the Journey

If this will be your first chance to use the road, check the map properly. Plan yourself early and you can even printout the road map of where you will take the route. Avoid using smart phone as not all areas has networks.
